gosh, i'd almost forgotten how to do this.

please ignore her appearance of hunchbackedness. her curves are not all in the right places and the fault lies with me.

this was mostly me playing with my tablet, figuring out how to revamp the comic. ap testing finished for me this morning, thus the update. a few of the sue-ish names were stolen from deleterius sporkings.

yes, it has been an impossibly long time since an update. however, good news: ap testing is next week, which means that - although sats and acts are still to come - i will have more free time. even better news: christmas + me = tablet. so hopefully this poor comic will have life breathed back into in the very near future.

and dustthouart posted the made-over hermione on deleterius, and i love her for that.

he would later regret abondoning the telephone plan when the tattoos didn't quite work out the way he wanted. also, slythtalk was bought out only a few months later by salaz-air, and they had the cheapest weekend rates in the wizarding world.

finally, an update! with hbp spoilers! like, yay!

dumbledore often found himself forgetting that one small detail. perhpas his age really was catching up to him.

i'm so sorry that it's been forever since i've updated. school is to blame. good news, though. i hope i can get a tablet soon. i think i've got nearly enough money. yay.

ooh, almost forgot! new affialiates! ahea and pottercon. both very cute and you should check them out straightaway.

i'm sooo sorry i've not updated in so long. school and other stuff have been eating my brain. and it's not been a good weekend in general for my community. so please know that i am not dead and that i'm hoping to get a new comic up soon.

oh, and i am so totally saving up for a tablet. i should be getting one kind of soon.

however, being british was the least of hermione's worries. there remained the simple fact that, y'know, hermione wouldn't have heard of green day.

so sorry for the lack of updates recently. school started this week (unfortunately), and i've been trying to get a handle on things. it's just been chaotic. ah, well. such is life, i guess.

also, because i was too stupidly tired last time i update, i completely forgot to talk about hurricane katrina. i extend my sympathies to anyone affected by it or to anyone who has loved ones down south. i urge you, if you haven't already, to try helping out in some way, whether through monetary donations, clothing donations or whatever else. if you can't give anything, just keep the people in your prayers or in your good thoughts.

really, there's nothing to be said besides the fact that this is a very real problem facing our society: the twelve-year-old girls who think they can write. the reality of it is that many of the fics you see floating around the net could give vogon poetry a run for its money.

dumbledore found his new friend quite charming. harry just found it disturbing. also, dumbledore had had enough of harry's bad karaoke; when they got to the island, he promptly drank the entire contents of the basin, attempting to drown his pain. too late, the idea occurred to him that he could have fed harry the potion, effectively eliminating his problems.

this one's dedicated to ohmydots, because the word "sing-along" totally threw this idea into my head.</span>

in which dumbledore makes his first appearance

dumbledore was beginning to think it would be quite easy to tip harry out of the boat and make it look like an accident. he restrained himself only because of, y'know, the whole 'chosen one' thing, as it wouldn't do to have the savior of the wizarding world become a midnight snack for underwater zombies.

EDIT: ergh. i thought up a different comic name, turnedtostone. but it's another of those journals that somebody made and never posted in. crap.

harry's idea of a romantic moonlight boatride (& picnic) did not seem to be playing out the way he'd planned it. of course, the sinking really was an accident and harry and hermione will go on a romantic scuba dive to recover the boat in the next book.

sorry for the lack of updates the past couple days. i've been really busy. dance practices every evening...i'm exhausted.

last time you all got a happy voldy. not this time. he's angry.

why's he angry, you ask? well, a certain comic writer may or may not have been considering a narnian comic entitled 'turkish delight'. of course, turkishdelight is already taken. the person has never written in the journal, and it was made back in 2001, i think. i don't know whether or not to try and contact her about it or not. egads. i also tried breaking the password...*hides from lj police*. but i want it so badly...

dumbledore apparently still believes himself to be gandalf. *sigh* and snape is still dripping grease. pleasant.

i've been thinking about starting a lord of the rings or chronicles of narnia comic on the side. it's just an idea i've been toying with for a while, but i don't know if i will because of the immense workload i'm facing in school this year. pillar of storgé will go on, however. never fear.

we are now affiliated with hp_piclets, a comic i find highly amusing. also, with lost_sketch, which, besides having amzingly cute drawings, is about 'lost'. what more could you ask for?

you know it. she was cute, but also annoying, as evidenced by the fact that half the movie was made up of the pause between 'hogwarts' and 'a history'.

still, she was more of a hermione than the pink-jacket-wearing monstrosity in prisoner of azkaban. but we won't go there today; that's a story for another day.
